What are the official entry and exit timings?

Entry is permitted from 6:00 AM to 11:30 AM only. All trekkers must exit by 4:30 PM.

No, vehicles are not allowed on the trek trail. Please plan parking arrangements at the base accordingly.

You may carry mobile phones, but playing music or loud audio is strictly prohibited. Silence must be maintained to avoid disturbing the wildlife.

No. All bookings are final. There will be no refunds, transfers, or rescheduling permitted under any circumstances.

Yes, but a refundable deposit of ₹50 per plastic item will be collected at the entry. This is refunded when the plastic item is returned at the exit gate. Littering is strictly prohibited. 

Absolutely not. Feeding wildlife is strictly prohibited as it may endanger both animals and trekkers.

Wear appropriate gear, stay hydrated, follow your guide, and stick to the marked trail. The Forest Department and JFM Committee are not liable for any mishaps.

Yes, photography is permitted, but the use of flash, spotlights, or drones is not allowed. Commercial shoots require prior approval.

Washrooms are available only at the base village. There are no Washrooms during the trek itself.

The trek to Andharban is a simple and safe one. Visitors are advised to exercise caution while trekking, as safety is a top priority. Please follow all rules and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents or mishaps. The Forest Department of Maharashtra and the JFM Committee shall not be held responsible for any untoward incidents.

A trained guide, appointed by the Forest Department, is mandatory for all visitors. The guide will assist you throughout the trek and ensure compliance with all rules and regulations. The Guide charges must be paid directly to the assigned guide at the sanctuary gate before entry. Due to a no-network area, it is requested to carry sufficient cash with you.

Only persons above the age of 16 years are allowed.

Yes, it is possible to complete the Andharban trek in one day. It is an easy-to-moderate trek requiring physical fitness, as there is a steep descent with few flat walks. With the right mindset, completing this trek in 6-8 hours is possible.
